HASHTAG FILMS

And just enough madness to keep things interesting

Our Story

The three founding members of Hashtag Films agree on two things:
Stories should create impact. And deadlines should mean something.
Beyond that, things get interesting.

Gunjan Goel, CEO, gets hyper about every little detail in production planning. If there’s a cable to be taped, a call sheet to be checked or a Plan B to be planned for the Plan B, Gunjan is probably already on it.

Pallavi Roy Sharma, Managing Director & Creative Lead, is less interested in budget bracket and more interested in whether the emotion is right. She can be perfectly happy with 27 takes—if the 28th finally makes you feel something.

And then there’s Susheel Sharman, our resident people person, who is usually busy connecting people, ideas, opportunities and, occasionally, people who have absolutely no idea they need to meet each other.
Together, they started Hashtag Films in 2016 with a simple ambition: tell stories that matter, make them well, and get them out into the world in time.

Since then, the house has produced films across romance, thrillers and social subjects— and advertising films and TVCs that are interesting enough to stop the scroll, grab eyeballs and, hopefully, stay in people’s heads for a little longer than the ad break.

And somehow, since 2016, it has all worked.

Production Infrastructure

A big idea doesn’t always need a big budget. It needs the right people, and the ability to make things happen.

And with our in-house integrated production facility, more of the making stays under one roof—giving us greater control, quicker execution and fewer “let’s check with production” moments.
